where my sig. O had to be for work. Harsh, right?
My vacation was a busy, but wonderful time away from my normal daily grind. We traveled up and down the east and west coast of Florida for GB's (sig. O's) work. Everyday was perfect; sunny and 75. The place we stayed a majority of the time was perfect too. GB's clients' let us stay in their beach condo for the amazing, low cost of FREE. When you woke up in the morning if you looked to the right you could watch the sun rise, and if you looked to the left you could watch the waves rolling in. Just absolutely gorgeous views in every direction.
It also turns out that I timed this vacation just right, because I missed out on the sleet and the sub-zero temperatures. heh, heh, heh :)
Trip highlights: Enjoying many walks along different parts of Florida's coast. Meeting Evander Preston an amazing and amazingly eccentric jeweler/beer brewer. And kayaking around Wheedon Island Preserve. No manatees came to shake hands and no dolphins jumped over the boat... but we did see lots of jumping fish (mullets), oyster beds, conchs and sting rays. Aside from two fishing boats off in the distance we were the only ones on the water. It was a very fun and relaxing way to spend the afternoon.
Even though I didn't have much down time it was worth it every night just to enjoy this...
