Private Student Loan Help! At Last!

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has created a new federal agency to assist private loan borrowers with complaints against their lenders. Nothing (besides repayment *coughdeathcoughdisabilitycough*) can make your loans disappear, but this group can show you additional resources and act on your behalf to get answers and responses you need from your loan servicers.

To ask a question, file a complaint, or share your story:
go to www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint or call their toll-free number at 1-855-411-CFPB.

I know I have a lot of questions that I would like answers to.  Like why a .01% change in interest resulted in a 30% payment increase?  Yes, AES, I'm looking at you and the years of documentation I've kept on file :)

Finally, accountability for private student loan lenders!  Yeah!!!
